Broadcom moved Bitnami's free catalog behind a paid subscription, froze the legacy images in an unmaintained archive, and has since removed Bitnami content from AWS entirely. If you relied on Bitnami's application images, you now have a decision to make. We publish hardened, continuously maintained images for many of the same applications — deployed in your own cloud account, billed by your cloud provider, with no subscription to rug-pull.

Docker Hardened Images and similar free catalogs are excellent — for containers. They offer no application-level VM images, their charts use new values schemas (existing Bitnami values files don't carry over), and marketplace purchasing is contract-based rather than self-serve pay-as-you-go. If you run containers only and have time to rewire, start there.
