GitLab Runner on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS

A pre-configured GitLab Runner: register it with your GitLab instance or gitlab.com and start executing CI/CD jobs in minutes. No inbound ports are required — the agent dials out to your CI service, so it slots into locked-down networks cleanly. Published and maintained by DC Associates Group: freshly rebuilt against current security advisories and deployable straight from the Azure Marketplace into your own subscription.

Version: GitLab Runner 16Platform: Microsoft AzurePorts: none inbound (runner connects outbound)Category: DevOps & CI/CD

  3. Register the runner: `sudo gitlab-runner register` with your GitLab URL and a runner token, then jobs are picked up automatically.
  4. Watch your first job land: the runner appears in your CI service's runner/agent pool within a minute of registration.
