OpenSearch (Hardened) — release notes

Current: OpenSearch 3.7 line on AWS; 2.19.6 on GCE (official bundle with its bundled JDK). The security and security-analytics plugins are REMOVED from the image — not merely left unconfigured.

2026-07-21	Important	Five hardened images verified end-to-end (vulnerability scan, certification gates, live preflights: boot, key-only login, password auth refused, app health, external ports closed) and submitted to AWS Marketplace; all five went public on 2026-09-03.
2026-07-20	Important	Full AWS catalog public. Monthly CVE-rebuild cadence active; versions rebuilt against current advisories before each submission.
2026-07-12	Important	Monthly rebuild + re-certification wave across live Azure offers (continuous listing freshness).
